These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Grapli (“Grapli”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), governing your access to and use of the Grapli platform, website at grapli.tech, APIs, mobile applications, and all associated services (collectively, the “Service”).

If you register on behalf of a company or organisation, the entity is the account holder and all individuals accessing the account are subject to these Terms. The entity assumes full responsibility for its employees’ and contractors’ use of the Service.
3. Acceptable Use

Platform Policy Compliance
When using Grapli to publish content to social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), you are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with each platform’s community guidelines, terms of service, and applicable advertising standards. Grapli does not review content prior to publication and cannot be held liable for content that violates platform policies.
4. User Content & Ownership
You Retain Ownership
You retain full ownership of all original content you bring to Grapli — including the topics, ideas, scripts you write yourself, and any media you upload. Grapli does not claim ownership over your original input.
Licence You Grant to Grapli
By uploading or creating content on Grapli, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to:
- ✓Store, process, and transmit your content to provide the Service
- ✓Generate AI outputs from your instructions and preferences
- ✓Encode, transcode, and deliver your videos via our CDN
- ✓Create anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve our models and service (no personally identifiable data is included)
This licence is limited strictly to providing the Service and does not allow us to sell, publicly display, or use your content for advertising without your separate consent.
Your Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that: (a) you have all necessary rights to any content you upload; (b) your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; (c) you have obtained all necessary releases and consents for any individuals depicted in your content; and (d) your use of third-party music, images, or footage complies with the applicable licences.
Content Removal
You may delete your content at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion, your content is removed from active storage within 30 days. Certain metadata may be retained for legal compliance purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Content published to external social platforms must be removed directly on those platforms.
5. AI-Generated Content
Ownership of AI Outputs
Scripts, voiceovers, captions, video compositions, and other outputs generated by Grapli’s AI pipeline are provided to you for your use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Grapli assigns to you all rights in AI outputs generated specifically for your account. However, because AI outputs may be generated using similar prompts from multiple users, we cannot guarantee exclusivity or uniqueness.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
Grapli’s AI systems use large language models, text-to-speech engines, and stock footage APIs. These systems can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect, biased, or inappropriate outputs. We strongly recommend reviewing all generated scripts and videos before publishing.
Third-Party AI Models
Grapli uses third-party AI providers including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (Whisper, DALL-E), and ElevenLabs (TTS). Your content may be processed by these services subject to their own terms. We have data processing agreements with each provider. Refer to our Privacy Policy §12 for full disclosure of AI data handling.
Stock Footage & Music
Videos produced by Grapli may incorporate stock footage from Pexels and other licensed sources. These assets are licensed for use within Grapli-produced videos subject to the applicable licence terms of the respective provider. You may not extract, redistribute, or use individual stock assets outside of your final Grapli-produced videos without independently licensing those assets.
7. Billing, Credits & Refunds
Subscription Plans
Grapli offers the following subscription tiers, billed monthly in Indian Rupees (INR):
| Plan | Monthly Price | Credits / Month | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | 3 | Auto-assigned on signup; watermark applies |
| Starter | ₹499 | 10 | Billed monthly; no watermark |
| Creator | ₹1,499 | 50 | Billed monthly; priority rendering |
| Pro | ₹3,999 | 200 | Billed monthly; advanced analytics |
Prices shown in local currencies on the website are indicative only. All billing is processed in INR via Razorpay. Exchange rates are approximate and may vary.
Credits
Each video render consumes one (1) credit. Credits are:
- — Non-refundable once consumed in a render job, regardless of the output quality
- — Non-transferable between accounts
- — Carry over when you upgrade plans — your existing unused credits are added to your new plan allocation
- — Do not expire while your account remains active
- — Forfeited upon account termination (see §14)
Billing Cycle
Subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar date each month. You will be charged the full monthly amount on renewal. If your renewal date falls on a day that does not exist in the renewal month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.
Free Plan
New accounts are automatically placed on the Free plan and receive 3 credits. The Free plan does not require payment information. Videos produced on the Free plan include a Grapli watermark. The Free plan is limited to 1 social account connection.
Upgrades & Downgrades
You may upgrade your plan at any time; the new plan takes effect immediately and you will be billed a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Unused credits from a higher-tier plan carry over to the lower tier.
Refund Policy
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- ✕Subscription renewals (after the first 7-day window expires)
- ✕Credits that have been consumed in render jobs
- ✕Partial-month subscription fees
- ✕Accounts terminated for Terms violations
- ✕Add-on purchases beyond the base subscription
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will retry the charge up to 3 times over 7 days. During this period, your account remains active with a warning. If all retries fail, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free plan and your remaining credits will be preserved. Resubscribing restores your access immediately.
Taxes
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Indian users are subject to GST at the applicable rate, which will be added at checkout. International users are responsible for any VAT, GST, or similar taxes applicable in their jurisdiction.
8. Scheduled Publishing
Grapli’s scheduling feature allows you to configure automated video creation and publishing at predefined intervals (daily, weekly, or custom cadences). By using scheduled publishing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Your Responsibility for Scheduled Content
Scheduled jobs are executed automatically on your behalf. You are responsible for the content generated and published by your scheduled jobs, even if you are not actively monitoring the system at the time of execution. We strongly recommend configuring a review step in your scheduled workflow when publishing to public audiences.
Credit Consumption
Each scheduled video render consumes one credit from your account balance at the time of execution. If your account does not have sufficient credits when a scheduled job runs, the job will be skipped and you will be notified by email. Skipped jobs are logged in your dashboard under Schedule → History.
No Guarantee of Delivery Time
Scheduled jobs are executed on a best-effort basis. We target execution within ±5 minutes of the scheduled time, but cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to rendering queue depth, platform API availability, or infrastructure maintenance. Time-sensitive publishing (e.g., breaking news) is not recommended via automated scheduling.
Platform API Availability
Scheduled publishing depends on the availability of connected platform APIs (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). If a platform API is unavailable at the time of publishing, Grapli will attempt up to 3 retries over 30 minutes. If all retries fail, the job is marked as failed and you will be notified. Grapli is not liable for content that fails to publish due to platform API outages.
9. Third-Party Services
Grapli integrates with a number of third-party services to deliver its functionality. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance that data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their own terms:

Grapli is not responsible for the actions, content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services. Outages or changes in third-party APIs may temporarily affect Grapli features. We will communicate significant third-party service changes via in-app notifications or email.
10. Intellectual Property
Grapli's Intellectual Property
The Grapli name, logo, website design, software, platform architecture, algorithms, and all related intellectual property are owned by or licenced to Grapli. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Grapli’s IP to you. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

If you provide us with ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service (“Feedback”), you grant Grapli an irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use and incorporate that Feedback without compensation or attribution to you.
DMCA & Copyright Takedowns
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Grapli infringes your copyright, please send a notice to legal@grapli.tech with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing content and its location on our Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised; and (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.
We will investigate and, where appropriate, remove infringing content and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Specifically, Grapli does not warrant that:
- ✕The Service will be available 100% of the time or free from errors, bugs, or interruptions
- ✕AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, appropriate, or suitable for your intended use
- ✕Videos rendered will achieve any particular quality, resolution, or performance standard beyond our published specifications
- ✕Published content will achieve any particular reach, engagement, or commercial outcome on social platforms
- ✕The Service will meet all of your specific business requirements
We target 99.5% monthly uptime for core video creation features. Planned maintenance will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance via our status page at status.grapli.tech.
12. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Grapli’s total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service exceed the greater of:
- — The amount you paid to Grapli in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- — ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand), if you have not made any payment to Grapli.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) and even if the limited remedy herein is found to have failed its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.
Specific Exclusions
Grapli is specifically not liable for:
- ✕Platform account suspensions or bans resulting from content published via Grapli
- ✕Loss of social media followers, engagement, or algorithmic reach

- ✕Third-party service outages (Razorpay, AWS, social platforms) affecting the Service
- ✕Any consequences arising from your failure to review AI-generated content before publishing
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grapli and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- (a) Your use or misuse of the Service;
- (b) Content you create, upload, or publish using the Service;
- (c) Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation;
- (d) Your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights;
- (e) Any claim by a social media platform arising from content you published via Grapli;
- (f) Your negligence or wilful misconduct.
Grapli reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with Grapli’s defence of such claims.
14. Termination
Termination by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Your account and content remain accessible until the cycle ends. After cancellation, your account is downgraded to the Free plan. You may delete your account entirely from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
Termination by Grapli
We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect if:
- ✕You materially breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- ✕We are required to do so by law, court order, or government authority
- ✕Your account is involved in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- ✕You create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
- ✕Continued provision of the Service to you would create legal risk for Grapli or third parties
Where possible, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before terminating. In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may terminate without notice or appeal.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination: (a) your licence to use the Service ends immediately; (b) unused credits are forfeited without refund (except within the 7-day refund window); (c) your stored content will be deleted within 30 days; (d) any outstanding payment obligations survive termination; and (e) Sections 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17 survive termination.

The seat of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding.
Jurisdiction for Interim Relief
Notwithstanding the arbitration clause, either party may seek interim or emergency relief (injunctions, restraining orders) from courts of competent jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka. You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for this limited purpose.
Class Action Waiver

6. Social Media Integrations
Connecting Your Accounts
Grapli allows you to connect social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others) via OAuth to enable direct publishing. By connecting a social account you authorise Grapli to:
What We Will Never Do
Revocation
You may disconnect any social account at any time from Dashboard → Social. Disconnecting revokes Grapli’s access and deletes your stored OAuth token within 24 hours. You can also revoke access directly from each platform’s settings page. Revoking access does not delete previously published content from those platforms.
Platform Terms
Use of social platform integrations is subject to each platform’s developer terms and community guidelines. Changes to a platform’s API policies may affect Grapli’s ability to publish to that platform, and we may need to temporarily or permanently suspend a platform integration without notice if required by the platform or applicable law.
